If you want a guilt-free download though, buy it off GOG.com or pirate it anyway, and buy the HD version for your iPhone/iPad to support the developers.
Warning: The game wiki says there are two relevant bugs in the GOG version.
You can download the game off Cloudstore.es (Valid and working as of 7th of April, 2012).
Extract the archive you just downloaded to a new directory using 7zip, WinRAR or similar and you end up with this:
The .nrg file is a CD/DVD image file from Nero - You will have to mount the image using programs like Daemon Tools Lite. If you don't have burning/DVD-Drive emulation software like this already, make sure to disable/untick all extra services like toolbars or search engines while installing those.
Using Daemon Tools, it was enough to double click the .NRG file to mount the CD successfully.
In order to update the game, you will need to install it to the HDD, so you can replace the game files with their newer versions from the KoDP-17update directory (readme.txt in there gives you the paths to the files).
This means when launching the game, you have to opt for Installing it.
If for whatever reason you get the error message "Setup is unable to find installation languages in E:\SETUP.LID file", open the CD by right clicking on your emulated DVD drive and click on Open.
You'll see the contents of the CD/DVD image, which you can simply copy or drag and drop wherever you desire.
Proceed to follow the update instructions and you are free to play using the KoDP.exe.
